New GISuser Page on facebook
To take advantage of the relatively new facebook “Pages” app, we’ve jumped on things and created a GISuser Page – Now you can stay informed with a feed from the blog, some photos, videos, and other cool Geo things. Feel free to become a fan via your facebook account and also feel free to use the wall to announce a GIS event, job, or ?? enjoy! A little rant on facebook though… Pages are a great way to promote your company and secure a position on facebook, however, the application seems to generate a very long, ugly url that will also incorporate your city and state name… very odd – hey facebook, perhaps an option for creating a custom url??
