Did you manage to catch the feature submission we shared today on GISuser… this part of our new, GISuser “experts” column… contributions from a fine team of professionals in Geo Tech. Honestly, like many of you I suspect, when I heard BIM in the past it was typically at a CAD centric event and I would immediately think of construction, architecture, etc… but not so according to this feature from our “BIM” contributor, Michael Scholsser. From the article… “Building Information Modeling (BIM) is beginning to impact the geospatial industry as it attempts to deal with the increasing use of data rich, intelligent 3D design models of our world’s infrastructure.” Read on here for more (and thanks Michael!)
