Roland Mangold to head LIDAR Magazine @LiDARmag

A quick update as you may have heard the news. Industry veteran, Roland Mangold will be heading up the roll of Editor at LiDAR Magazine. In case the name sounds familiar to you, LiDAR Magazine is one of our sister properties / publications here as we all fall under the umbrella of Spatial Media LLC – see spatialMedia.us Spatial Media also operates The American Surveyor Magazine, GISuser.com, the Machine Control brands and other Geo-Technology focused properties.

Our LiDARNews is now LiDAR Magazine (lidarmag.com) and I'm pleased to welcome an old Canadian friend, Roland Mangold to our team as we will be heading up all things LiDAR - Roland will succeed LIDAR Magazine Managing Editor Dr. Gene V. Roe effective with the July/August issue of the magazine. Happy Birthday Canada and PM Harper’s Canada Day Greeting

Today Canada celebrates another birthday, better known in Canada as “Canada Day” – the occasion marks the joining of the British North American colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada into a federation of four provinces (the Province of Canada being divided, in the process, into Ontario and Quebec) on July 1, 1867.
