PANalytical NIR is today reminding graduate students to submit their proposals by October 15 for a chance to be awarded a remote sensing instrument that will enhance their research projects. Students will be awarded either the FieldSpec 4 or Handheld 2. These spectroradiometers are ideal for students who would like to apply hyperspectral image interpretation, image validation or multispectral remote sensing study/analysis to their projects.
Applicants must be attending an accredited college or university in any country where Carnet documentation for shipments is accepted, which includes the U.S., Canada and many others. Each recipient is eligible for up to $500 to cover the cost of publication fees (if the resulting paper is accepted for publication in a scientific journal) and/or travel assistance for the presentation of an accepted abstract at a relevant scientific conference. The program organizers also request the participants provide PANalytical with a short summary of their research and results.
