So, you’re worried about flu season again… no worries, Google is mashing up some cool data products via the CDC to give you a snapshot of what’s happening with the flu trends in your area. The first thing is a tabular chart showing trends over time by area (simply select a State), here in CO it appears that mid-Nov and mid-Feb have historically been peak time. Then, using a map you can browse the relative activity for your region. Finally, there’s even an integrated flu shot locator… simply type in the Zip code of interest and a desired radius and you’ll be presented with locations nearby offering flu vaccines – data courtesy ALA.
