It was quite cool to see that ESRI had expanded their campus with the addition of the Conference Center and event facilities, however, it’s even cooler to see that ESRI is taking advantage of these facilities by opening the doors to the community thanks to their Town & Gown Cultural Event Series – a series of cultural and educational events geared to government and business leaders, environmentalists, filmmakers, and performers… kudos to ESRI! The series kicks off this month (Jan 13) with an interesting presentation titled ” Stars Above, Earth Below: Astronomy in the National Parks” by Tyler Nordgren, an astronomer and associate professor of physics at the University of Redlands – see more details HERE
