My Top 10 Things to do at the 2009 ESRI User Conference (#ESRIUC)

Once again this year I’m pleased to share with you some of my TOP tips for things to do at the International ESRI User Conference – this will be my 11th yeat attending!
And so… 10 TOP things (actually, 11) that you might wish to add to your agenda planner… enjoy the event!

1. Show up at the convention center on Sunday early and check in early (don’t wait till Monday!) Sunday is quiet time and the best time to check-in. Its also a great chance to look around and get familiar with the lay of the land. I like this time to walk around and meet up with some of the ESRI staffers who will be very busy during the week. It’s a great opportunity to talk with them and catch-up!

2. First stop after checking into my hotel is the World Market (7th and J st) for some supplies – don’t pay $5 a bottle for hotel water!

PS: if you plan on using Ping.fm, Shozu, or other social bookmarking tools, be sure to add some appropriate tags, including geo-location info, to your tags!
