Recall, ArcGIS Solutions for Local Government is a collection of templates for common local government workflows, apps, and tools. Recently, as of Feb 2020, a pretty hefty update was rolled out.
There were numerous updates and enhancements in this latest release, many of teh noteworthy features cited below (thanks to Scott Oppman for updating the ArcGIS Solutions for Local Government mailing list with details.
February release includes the following:
- The first release of Address Data Management for ArcGIS Pro, a configuration of ArcGIS Pro that can be used by mapping technicians to maintain an inventory of road centerlines, valid road names, site addresses, and related mailing addresses.
- The first release of Address Field Operations, a collection of maps and apps that can be used by addressing staff to crowdsource missing address information from stakeholders, manage address field operations, and collect address information while in the field.
- The first release of Adopt-A-Catch Basin, a collection of maps and apps that can be used by the general public to adopt catch basins and work with stormwater agencies to keep drains clean for all.
- The first release of Adopt-A-Stop, a collection of maps and apps that can be used by the general public to adopt bus stops and work with transit agencies to keep stops safe and clean for all.
- The first release of Citizen Science, a collection of maps and apps that can be used by citizen scientists to report sightings of plants and animals.
- The first release of Flood Impact Analysis, a configuration of ArcGIS Pro that can be used by mapping technicians to develop flooding scenarios and visualize the impact of flooding.
- The first release of Know Your Zone, a configuration of Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS that can be used by the general public to learn which tiered evacuation zone they reside in and if they are vulnerable during a storm surge.
- The first release of Road Network Data Management for ArcGIS Pro, a configuration of ArcGIS Pro that can be used by mapping technicians to maintain an inventory of public roads, road intersections, and physical road characteristics (for example, speed limit, functional class, lane width, and number of lanes).
- The first release of Transit Outreach, a collection of maps and apps that can be used by the general public to obtain information about planned service changes and submit feedback on their experience with public transit.
- The first release of Transit Safety, a collection of maps and apps that can be used by transit safety staff to document safety issues and manage corrective actions or mitigation activities.
- A series of enhancements to Fire Service Maps and Visibility Assessment.
- Added building extract workflow to Local Government 3D Basemaps that uses lidar to create building footprints.
- Support for ArcGIS Pro 2.5.
