We all love Ted talks right? If you haven’ watched one lately I urge you to give it a go, particularly a Ted talk from your local area. You never really know what kind of amazing things and people are right in your own backyard. Case in point, a guy in my town here in Victoria, BC, Canada who’s an avid cyclist turned GPS enthusiast, turned artist.
Enjoy this talk as the presenter shares his story of the marriage of his passion for cycling with a Garmin GPS. Stephen Lund used to pedal around 10,000 KMs a year until recently when he logged more than 20,000 KMs, the result of his efforts to ride a specially designed route, tracking himself with GPS technology, uploading the track to Strava, and the result being a fun piece of GPS Doodle art – simply Awesome!
