You’ll be hard pressed to find anyone around who is more passionate about GIS and the geospatial sciences than Joseph Kerski. Luckily Joseph periodically shares his stories with us at GISuser, most recently by offering us a fine read in an article about the relationship between GIS and geography. In his typical, fun and educational approach, Joseph touches on some interesting Geo facts and history. He then leads us into details of the importance of GIS in education (his true passion) and then offers up interesting real world stories about how GIS is used in mapping the World’s ecoregions and analyzing the World’s earthquakes. Thanks again to Joseph for another fine read!
