As hurricane season starts to heat up in the Northern hemisphere, Esri has added a new Social Media map resource (think community or crowd-sourced media) enabling the community at large to contribute and share relevant resources and media. The map is intended to be simple to use, empowering the user to easily and quickly add links to relevant extreme weather related news stories, weblinks, photos, and videos. Simply select a topic category, click to a location on the map, and add details of the resource to share.
