A new web service from ESRI enables anyone to quickly and easily create an economic impact map for any area along the Gulf Coast and then share and embed on a blog or website – enter the Make an Oil Spill Economic Impact Map service.
Using a very simple UI, the user selects a region of interest (like Pensacola, FL for example), then selects an economic variable to map (tourism, fishing, shipping), then select the size for the map and voila… the required code is provided enabling fast and simple sharing of the map on any website.
