I’m in transit at the moment and delivering a short update while riding a QuickShuttle coach from SeaTac to Vancouver, BC… god I love technology. We’ve come s far but its sad to still see so many people struggling to stay connected (just look around the airport some time). I’ve been working, blogging, tweeting, reading news, watching live Olympic games updates and more… without a hitch. The tools of choice for me at the moment include: iPhone 3G S, Nokia N95 (I have AT&T and T-mobile access), HP netbook (small, lightweight, 5 hr battery etc…), flip mino camera, a FastCompany magazine, Notebook and pen (yes, i actually like to write with a pen periodically)
This time things have gone off without a hitch as I have free WiFi access on the bus (sweet) and I still have AT&T 3G access, although that will change when I cross into Canada… so sad that Internationaly roaming is such a friggin hassle and pain in butt… come on AT&T, one day you really need to sort this out withuot sticking it to the customer! In the past hour I’ve uploaded a video from the flip mino to Youtube and have just been playing with Google Buzz. After poking around a bit buzz is looking pretty decent, although understanding what you are sharing, with whom you are sharing it, and sorting out location sharing info can be a bit of a challenge.
