Details of an update for iPhone mobile users of the Mapquest service comes to us via the Mapquest blog… MapQuest 4 Mobile to 1.0.2 will incorporate several changes including:
– We have taken user’s suggestions and feedback and added New Address Book integration to easily plot any address from your iPhone’s address book onto a MapQuest 4 Mobile map and get directions to or from that address.
– Added Search, Map, and Directions Icons to My Places for easier visual recognition.
From Mapquest… We also incorporated 13 new branded place widgets that include: Chili’s, Citibank, Comfort Inn, Embassy Suites, FedEx, Home Depot, HSBC, Interstate Batteries, Kohl’s, Papa John’s, Quality Inn, Sears and Wendy’s that can be found in the Place Palette. Brands can easily be drug from the Palette into the Place Carousel for easy one tap search.
