Those of you hooked on Twitter like me, or perhaps thinking about it, you might be glad to know that there’s a new Twitter photo sharing app available as of today – enter TweetPhoto (http://www.tweetphoto.com) Its much like TwitPic but has some cool functionality tossed in as well. The app is linked to your twitter account(s) and you simply upload via web UI and tweet a notice to your Twitter acct (optional). But there’s also more. The app integrates closely with your Twitter account so you can see your friends streams as well and you can even see who’s been looking at your photo uploads. Even cooler, the app provides a friendly email address for secure uploads via email or mobile – I’ve added the email to my Shozu upload settings so now I can easily send a crunched version (think saving data charges) from my mobile directly to tweetphoto. The application also has a facebook conenct option, so when you upload via PC UI you are provided with an option to also send to your facebook wall as well… nice! I have a couple of small stream going see my @gletham stream or the @gisuser stream
FYI, for our @GISuser twitetr stream I may start sending photos or images from interesting news that hits GISuser.com – for added traction the photo will hit the TweetPhoto, twitter and announce short details about the news… I’m sure I’ll think of some other uses too!
