OK, how about some poll results? Recall, the other day I was asking about people’s event budgets and if things have been scaled back this year at all. The results so far are more dramatic than I could have imagined! Seems so far just 14% report no cut backs are planned for GIS conference travel this whereas 80% of people taking the poll so far report they are either cutting back on travel budget somewhat (37%) or completely (43%) Ouch!!
