Many of us are ware that GIS Day and Geography awareness week are planned for November. The CAG will be using “theme days” this year… The Canadian Association of Geographers will be using Theme Days as the focus of Geography Awareness Week (GAW) 2007. The dates and Theme Days for GAW 2007 are as follows:
Monday, Nov. 12 – Weather and Climate Day
Tuesday, Nov. 13 – Water Day
Wednesday, Nov.14 – GIS Day
Thursday, Nov. 15 – Transportation Day
Friday, Nov. 16 – Food and Health Day
Tuesday, Nov. 13 – Water Day
Wednesday, Nov.14 – GIS Day
Thursday, Nov. 15 – Transportation Day
Friday, Nov. 16 – Food and Health Day
Perhaps this could be a good template for others to follow if you plan on celebrating for the entire week.
