The Geomatics Industry Association of Canada (GIAC) is hosting a series of information and outreach sessions across Canada to showcase the vital role that location-based or “geospatial” information - such as digital maps and satellite images - and technologies can play in enhancing public and private sector decision-making and in the management of policy, social, environmental and economic development issues.
